Job Description:
The Senior Computer Programmer will design, develop, implement, test, and maintain web-based rental and sales service system for NextGen Realty, Inc. The Senior Computer Programmer will also customize computer applications using advanced programming languages to include C++, JAVA, and My-SQL.

Job Duties:
- Design, write and test websites for NexGen Realty and affiliated companies, ensuring websites are capable of supporting heavy web traffic (about 10,000 to 20,000 visitors per month).
- Assess end-user needs to determine applications and software requirements to support such high-traffic websites;
- Develop and maintain source code forreal estate listing database using data available on media server and real estate listing database server with MySQL queries, C++, Java, and perform quantitative analysis and data visualization as needed;
- Code web system and applications using advanced programming languages;
- Perform regular maintenance and update web system as required, oversee the daily performance of the Company’s computer systems;
- Provide technical expertise to support NextGen Realty in maintaining production and non-production based database, troubleshoot and solve technical and software issues at NextGen Realty.
Required Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable) OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable).
Required Professional Experience:
Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of experience in web programming OR Master’s Degree plus 1 year of experience in web programming.
- Demonstrated experience with large 2+ terabyte database
- DE developing websites capable of supporting heavy web traffic (e.g. 10,000 to 20,000 visitors per month)
- DE with C++, Java, HTML, My-SQL, SQL AlwaysOn, DB Mirroring, and cloud computing
- DE developing customized computer applications
- DE creating SQL queries for end-users
